JOB DESCRIPTIONS
Camp Chaplain is responsible for:
- Reports directly to the Camp Director
- For being familiar with and having ‘bought into’ the camp philosophy and goals
- For the design and implementation of the spiritual program of the camp
- For the preparation and deliverance of the camp wide morning and evening prayers
- For the preparation, distribution and instruction of the Paraliturgy kits
- For the preparation and running of Paraliturgies
- Ensuring the camp maintains a theme of ‘catholic traditions’ wherever possible
- For assisting other camp personnel when time and duties allow
- For safeguarding the self worth and dignity of all members of the camp community
- For safeguarding Camp Cadicasu Association of Calgary, the Board of Directors and fellow staff members against possible litigation resulting from negligent behavior on his/her part
