Counselors in Training, aged 15-17

The CIT program is a three week program designed to equip participants with the skills they need to graduate from the program and become a camp counselor.

The counselors in training will receive in-depth training as well as practical work experience in the following areas:
  • Programming for children
  • Discipline and peer support
  • Backpacking and outdoor skills
  • spirituality in the camp setting
  • Arts and crafts
  • First aid
  • Water safety
Participants are selected through an application and interviewing process conducted by the CIT director.

CIT applicants must be 15 years of age on or before the first date of camp.
