WHAT DO I BRING TO CAMP
To ensure the camping experience is one which will benefit each camper and the myriad of activities which they will be participating, it is important to consider that you bring along clothing which will enable you to fully participate in all of the activities.
For this reason, here is a list of "basic" items which should be included:
- 1 Sleeping bag
- 1 Pillow
- Toiletry articles (soap/toothpaste/toothbrush/etc.)
- 1 pair of pajamas
- 6 pairs of underwear (minimum)
- 8 pairs of socks (minimum 2 pair made of wool)
- 2 pair of running shoes
- 1 pair of shower flip flops (optional)
- 1 pair of water shoes or strap on sandals
- 3 5 short sleeved t-shirts
- 2 3 long sleeved t-shirts (classic sweatshirt will be good as well)
- 2 - 3 pairs of shorts
- 2 3 pair of long pants or jeans
- 1 hooded sweatshirt
- 1 heavy jacket
- 1 rain coat or rain suit
- 1 windbreaker
- 1 duffle bag or suitcase
- 1 face cloth
- 1 towel for shower
- 1 towel for swimming
- 1 swim suit
- 1 bathing cap (if required)
- 1 swim goggles (if required)
- 1 baseball cap or other hat
- insect repellent
- sunscreen
- water bottle
- daypack backpack
- medications
Optional items:
- Campfire blanket
- Flashlight
- Teddy bear
- Notebook / pen
- Books
- Sunglasses
- camera
DO NOT BRING: LEAVE THESE ITEMS AT HOME!!!
- IPod or any other MP3 player
- radios
- make up and hairdryers
- money
- food
- knives
- game boys or computer games of any type
- cell phones

Please Remember:
- please make sure all clothing is clearly marked with campers name
- it is often quite cool in the evening so please bring a warm sleeping bag (the campers will occasionally sleep outside on our property)
- being in the foothills, we often experience raining weather, so please make sure you bring along rain gear
- leave your favorite clothes at home as we cannot be responsible for lost items
